On January 10, 2024, at the meeting of the Academic Council of MUST, it was decided to grant the title of "Honorary Professor" of MUST to David Bellatalla, an anthropologist, cultural researcher, and historian from Italy. The bestowing ceremony occurred at the Academic Council Hall on 12th April 2024.
David Bellatalla has published more than 10 books. He works in anthropological studies on the nomadic life of the Mongolian people, the nomadic shamanism of the Buriad and Tsaatan people, and promoting it to the world. In addition, researchers and students from Mongolian universities are included in international programs and teach cultural anthropology courses to students. Therefore, David Bellatalla was awarded the title of "Honorary Professor" of MUST in recognition of his significant contribution to Mongolia by raising more than 800 million MNT humanitarian donations and investing in Mongolia in the last 24 years.
Dr. David Bellatalla, an Italian cultural anthropologist, cultural researcher, and historian, has been awarded the Academic Title of “Honorary Professor” of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology.
