On 6th February, Prof. B. Ochirbat and other officials of MUST visited at National Defense University named after Commander D. Sukhbaatar. During the visit, undergraduate degree joint program cooperation agreement signing ceremony took place.
In the ceremony, Prof. B. Ochirbat, President of MUST, Prof. Kh. Enkhjargal, Vice-president for Education, Prof. L Purev, Director of the department, Prof. E. Ninjgarav, Director of School of Civil Engineering and Architecture and Prof. Ch. Mangaljalav, Director of School of Power Engineering from MUST, and Major General Ya. Choijamts, Commander of NDU, Colonel P. Jargalan, Vice-president for Education and Colonel N. Naranjamts, Director of Education and Academic Department participated for signing ceremony. Upon cooperation agreement signed, both universities shall collaborate in the wide academic areas such as education, research, capacity building and academic exchange etc. Therefore, action group to initiate the cooperation has established.
In the framework of cooperation agreement, 3rd year students from NDU shall educate engineering education rely upon School of Civil Engineering and Architecture and School of Power Engineering and shall gain 2 diplomas from both universities. Further, action group would work intensively to develop joint program in civil engineering, environmental engineering and electrical engineering programs.
Dr. David Bellatalla, an Italian cultural anthropologist, cultural researcher, and historian, has been awarded the Academic Title of “Honorary Professor” of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology.
